IRCC evaluates French language test results using the Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC), identical to the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB).
To qualify for Category-Based Express Entry draws and earn the 50-point bonus, candidates must reach NCLC 7 in all four competencies.
